2 and 3 Year Old

Becky Cunningham

As our children grow from babies in the nursery to toddlers, the next step is the TWO AND THREE YEAR-OLD LIFE GROUP! This group uses the TODDLERS AND TWOs Curriculum. This curriculum is very interactive for this young, hands-on age group, and uses one-point lessons over a five-week time frame. The children are encouraged to interact with each lesson and have a take-home page each week. Children at this age are eager to learn and we want to help them learn about God and His love and eternal truths that they won't forget!

The class is lead by Becky Cunningham. Becky has been involved in children's ministry since college, through teaching Sunday School and being involved in AWANA Club. She is a nurse and has 2 adult children, one with special needs. Becky is also on the board of Lifeline, INC, a ministry that works with families who have family members with special needs. Becky also is a co-leader of Trauma Reboot. Terry Cisco is co-teacher with Becky. Becky and Terry would love to have your toddler in Life Group!

Pre-K & Kindergarten

Serena Gray

Our Pre-K & Kindergarten Life Group consists of 4 to 6 year old children and is taught by Serena Gray. Deborah Zimmerman assists in leading the group as well. We use the Hands-On Bible Curriculum/Learning Lab to introduce and teach Bible stories at an age-appropriate level. This encourages each child to participate while learning about Jesus. We teach our lessons with tools the children can see, hold and relate back to our lesson. Each Sunday we pray, eat snacks, play lesson-related games, and participate in a hands-on lesson which includes visuals and crafts. Most importantly, we read our Bible and worship Jesus. Every Sunday is an adventure.

I am a Legal Assistant and a mother of a preteen son who keeps me on my toes and active. I love working with children and have been teaching this age group for approximately seven years. When I am not at work or preparing my lessons, I enjoy gardening and reading.

2nd - 5th Grade

Jolene Hatfield

Our 2nd-5th Grade Life Group aims to partner with parents in providing children with a foundation of faith and biblical understanding. We do this through Bible study along with class discussions, interactive games, and crafts that reinforce the Bible lesson to help children grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Our group is currently using the Answers in Genesis " Answers For Kids" curriculum. This study helps children develop a biblical world view by providing answers to the questions children have about the Bible, history, and Science.

The class meets in the Children's Building on Sunday from 9:30-10:30am

Jolene has been sharing the Word of God and the love of Jesus with children for more than 30 years. Throughout her years of teaching she has always worked to make the classroom an inviting and fun environment where children feel loved and learn about the love of Jesus. She enjoys doing yard work, playing with her dog, Sophia, but her greatest joy is teaching children about Jesus.
