You are probably asking your self, What is The Ark Experience? It is a simulation of the interior of Noah's Ark inside the sanctuary of Hixson First Baptist Church. We discovered the dimensions of our sanctuary are very close to the height and width of Noah's ark. The depth of the Sanctuary is also equal to one fourth of the length of Noah's Ark. So, we came up with the idea to create a simulation of Noah's Ark and we would be thrilled for you and your family to come and check it out.

There will be sights and sounds which are reminiscent of the sights and sounds on Noah's Ark. Ours won't be exact but we hope to get close. There might even be some live animals aboard (for sure there will be no elephants, rhinos, lions, dinosaurs, etc.).

We have planned three services which will be designed around the Ark. Each service focuses on a theme related to the Biblical account of Noah's Ark which God wants us to experience for ourselves.

  • Experience the Faith - October 22                                                                                                                   We will focus on the faith of Noah as he embraced the mammoth sized task of building the Ark and the difference such faith makes in our  lives today. We will gain a better understanding of what it means to live out the kind of faith that pleases God (Hebrews 11:6).

  • Experience the Flood - October 29
There is evidence all over the earth of a universal flood. We will look at the amazing geological evidence which supports the Biblical account of the flood of Noah's day as the global flood which once covered the earth. We will discover that the flood of Noah's days answers questions about how we got the current topography of the earth. Evolutionist tell us it took nature millions and even billions of years to develop this topography. The Bible and geology gives us evidence that God accomplished these things in a very short time frame with the flood which covered the earth during Noah's time on the earth.

  • Experience the Forgiveness - November 5                                                                                                        God used the Ark which Noah built as the means of salvation for Noah and his family. Others could have joined Noah and his family on the ark but they chose not to do so. We will look into how Noah's Ark is a symbol of the forgiveness which God offers to the world today and how we can choose to accept that forgiveness, or not.

We Invite You to Experience The Ark Experience

October 22, 29, and November 5  - 10:45am
